A RESEARCH ON THE OBSERVATION OF SPATIAL SEGREGATION IN KIRKLARELI GYPSY NEIGHBORHOOD

Aim: To reveal whether the places where Gypsies live in Kırklareli Central district are spatially separated from city center and at same time segregated, to make suggestions for solution of this segregation. Method: Information document collection, mapping, observation, photographing spatial analysis methods were used study, The examination stages segregation handled three studies, 1st Stage: "Mapping Spatial segregatıon with Urban Macroform Change", 2nd "Spatial Features", 3rd "Physical Space Features". Analysis "Disintegration Imagination" regarding readability Gypsy’s region within whole Kırklareli, separation their other dwellers, both imaginatively, socially, evaluated. Results: In observational studies on areas mobility indigenous people, it is observed that location, transportation, accessibility, security, equipment adequacy, living spaces building-building environment all analyzed results, a settlement its socio-spatial structuring urban integrity. It seen social also clearly felt. Conclusion: As result, focused solving economic problems Gypsies, Idea proposals developed overcome by increasing common use local people introducing socialization opportunities.
